Questions about this.
Do I have to move to Divi 5 right away?
No. Divi 4 still gets security and critical fixes, and Elegant Themes says it will be supported for at least 12 months after the February 26, 2026 launch of Divi 5. New features only land in Divi 5, so plan the move rather than rush it.
Will my layouts break during the migration?
Most Divi 4 modules convert automatically with their content and design settings. Breakage usually comes from third-party modules, custom CSS and old presets, which is exactly what we check and fix on staging.
What happens to third-party Divi modules?
If a module has no Divi 5 version, it runs in backward compatibility mode and the whole page loads the Divi 4 framework. We swap it for a native Divi 5 module or rebuild it, so the page gets the full speed gain.
Can we roll back to Divi 4?
Yes, within limits. The Divi 5 Migrator keeps a copy of your Divi 4 content, and we take a full backup first. Rollback gets harder the longer a site runs and is edited in Divi 5, so we agree a test window before launch.
Is the live site down while you work?
No. Everything happens on a staging copy. The live site only changes on the launch day you approve.
Can you migrate many client sites at once?
Yes. We group sites by shared plugins and modules, then migrate them in batches with one checklist and one report per site, all under your brand.
